Berean Bible Church

This past Sunday, I preached at Berean Bible Church in Arroyo Grande, California. Each year, I've been able to come to this church to thank the kind folk for their sacrificial contribution to The Shepherd's Bible College ministry in New Zealand. The church family is so gracious and my time with them is always encouraging. Pastor Randy Bossom is a seminar speaker at Impact Bible Conference in Hastings this June. Nigel Shailer

Nigel serves as Vice-Principal, Academic Dean and Head of Bible Exposition at The Shepherd’s Bible College in Hastings, New Zealand. His passion is to train and equip believers to serve in the local church as pastors, elders, missionaries, and in significant lay ministries. He is a discipler of men in his local church, and also travels throughout the year to preach and teach both internationally and within New Zealand. Nigel serves as an elder of Riverbend Bible Church. He is also the co-ordinator of the annual Impact Bible Conference and serves as a board member for Gracebooks NZ.

Having been born and raised in Foxton, New Zealand and after serving in various church roles in Palmerston North, Nigel moved with his wife to Los Angeles for eight years where he graduated from The Master’s College and The Master’s Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. He also earned a Bachelor of Applied Theology from Carey Baptist College in Auckland, NZ. While in Los Angeles, Nigel served as Associate Pastor at Community Bible Church and Bible Lecturer at Skyward Bible Institute.

Nigel married Sereena in 1991, and together they serve in the ministry of Riverbend Bible Church in Hastings, New Zealand.
